Description

This contract for the “Refurbishment of the Aristides Pereira International Airport Runway, on the Island of Boa Vista”, was carried out by a Consortium in 2017 for the value of 699 279 612.70 CVE (€6 341 809.39), as part of the ASA – Aeroportos e Segurança Aérea renovation and maintenance programme for airport infrastructure, aimed at improving safety conditions. Main work:

• Disassembly and demolition

• Ground levelling

• Drainage

• Partial reinforcement of the runway foundation bed with soil-cement and a new base layer

• Surfacing using hot bituminous mixtures

• Activities related to the replacement of affected services, such as approach lighting, plumbing and horizontal markings
