In 2017, we began operations in Bolivia, strengthening our presence on the American continent.
The Cochabamba Olympic Village, our first project in this country, is part of the preparations by the Bolivian Ministry of Sports for the Cochabamba 2018 South American Games – CODESUR. The project includes the construction of a velodrome, an athletics track, a grass pitch, a multi-sports complex and a hotel, as well as all supporting facilities.
This project leverages Tecnovia’s expertise in the construction of sports facilities, and our capacity to operate according to the most stringent of international standards, in this case those of the international Olympic federations which integrate the committee monitoring the games.
We also implement projects in all areas of civil engineering in Bolivia, with specialised technical staff and our own equipment, which allow us to operate according to the high environmental, safety and quality standards to which we hold ourselves.
In Bolivia we operate through the Tecnovia Madeira S.A. branch, with Luís Manuel de Matos Matias Damião as its legal representative.
