Tecnovia Madeira launches Tecnovia Yacht Service, the new brand dedicated to maritime concessions.
Tecnovia Yacht Service unifies the communication and image of the company’s three nautical and recreational infrastructure concessions on the island of Madeira – Calheta Recreation Port, Socorridos Naval Shipyard and Água de Pena Naval Shipyard.
Highlighting the naval and nautical services that Tecnovia Madeira provides in the maritime economy, Tecnovia Yacht Service presents an integrated offer of the three infrastructures, reinforcing the strategic positioning of this business in the national and international market.
Representing Tecnovia Madeira’s commitment to the blue economy, which began in 2017, Tecnovia Yacht Service projects a modern, appealing and professional image of the three maritime concessions, standing out for the quality and synergy of the services provided.

In shipyards, the offer includes parking and wintering, repair and maintenance of vessels that can be carried out by qualified personnel from Tecnovia Madeira, companies authorized by the Shipyard or by third parties hired by the owners of the vessels.
With the capacity to receive ships of 35 tons and accommodate more than 100 ships simultaneously, with a service station for the inspection of rafts and life jackets certified by DGRM and having constructions to support nautical activities, the Água de Pena shipyard, with an area of 14,500 m2, it is located under the runway of Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, in the municipality of Machico.
Just 5 miles from Funchal, the Socorridos Naval Shipyard has a Travelift with a capacity of up to 64 tons and a Travelift pier with a width of 8.05 meters, capable of receiving vessels up to 23 meters in length for mooring and hauling.
Porto de Recreio da Calheta, located in the west of the island of Madeira, integrates the operation of a marina with 337 berths, capable of receiving vessels up to 25 meters, a car park with a capacity of 320 spaces and several commercial and services related to nautical activity.
The new Tecnovia Yacht Service brand also presents a website dedicated to the Porto de Recreio da Calheta – www.portorecreiocalheta.pt, completely renovated, appealing and user friendly, which demonstrates the beauty and authenticity that this marina offers on the west side of the island.
