On November 8, 2024, in Kampala, a financing contract worth €126 million was signed for the design and construction of a 97 km road in Uganda to be executed by Tecnovia.

The contract was signed between the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development of the Republic of Uganda (MoFPED) and a consortium of banks led by Citibank, which also includes ABSA and DBSA.

  • Facilitating the transport of goods and passengers, reducing travel time and costs;
  • Stimulating access to economic and social opportunities along the route through high-capacity infrastructure, strengthening regional mobility.

By leading this venture, Tecnovia reaffirms its commitment to creating infrastructure solutions that drive sustainable development across Africa, and particularly in Uganda, a country where it has focused its internationalization strategy.
