VII Tecnovia Strategic Meeting

On March 27 and 28, the Hotel Golf Mar in Vimeiro hosted the VII Strategic Meeting of the Tecnovia Group, which brought together 123 executives and representatives from all companies within the group — spanning mainland Portugal, the Azores, Madeira, Cape Verde, Angola, and Uganda.

This annual event once again proved to be a privileged moment for sharing, strategic alignment, and strengthening bonds between teams, in a spirit of cohesion that transcends borders and different areas of activity.

Three Generations United

This edition held particular significance, marking the first joint participation of three generations of the founding family of José Guilherme Jorge da Costa. Their presence underscored the importance of continuity, long-term vision, and the values that have shaped Tecnovia’s identity and trajectory over more than 60 years of history.

Sustainability at the Heart of the Strategy

Sustainability stood out as one of the central themes of the meeting. With contributions from E&Y, Tecnovia’s partner, the ESG – Environmental, Social, and Governance strategic framework was shared in alignment with Tecnovia’s identity, values, and purpose. In a session driven by group dynamics, participants explored the pillars of the sustainability strategy, identifying key commitments and actions to be included in the Group’s first Sustainability Report.

It was a moment to align across geographies and reaffirm Tecnovia’s commitment to environmental, social, and ethical responsibility — essential criteria in building a more sustainable future for all.

Sharing Experiences and Inspiring Each Other

During the meeting, the group’s various companies presented their key activities, ongoing projects, and operational challenges, creating a valuable space for mutual learning and strategic alignment.

Promoting shared responses to global challenges, with solutions adapted to local realities — while remaining aligned with Tecnovia’s standards of excellence and culture — are common goals across the Group.

The program also featured external speakers, including Tomaz Morais, who delivered an inspiring talk on leadership, attitude, and overcoming challenges.

The meeting concluded with the “Tecnovia Pro” Awards, a contest that challenged employees to test their knowledge of Tecnovia’s history. More than a competition, this initiative symbolized the pride of belonging to an organization with a strong legacy and a culture rooted in valuing people and sharing knowledge.

With this 7th Strategic Meeting, Tecnovia reinforces its commitment to sustainable growth, innovation, and responsibility, uniting its teams around a shared vision: to build the future for everyone — with quality and sustainability.
