Tecnovia welcomes students on Open Day
Tecnovia recently held an Open Day at its industrial centres in Rio Maior and Ourique, welcoming dozens of students with an interest in engineering and infrastructure.
The initiative provided an enriching immersion in the world of construction, combining theory and practice through guided tours and direct contact with professionals in the sector.
A learning experience in the field
During the event, participants visited several of the company’s operational units, including works in progress, workshops, quarries, centres and laboratories. Accompanied by Tecnovia employees, the students had the opportunity to get to know the production processes up close, answer questions and gain a better understanding of the real dynamics of the sector.
At the Ourique Plant, the Open Day also included a visit to the Aljustrel Bypass construction site, giving the young people the chance to take a closer look at a project in progress.
This initiative is part of Tecnovia’s strategy to promote a direct link between academic training and the labour market. By sharing real-life testimonies and career paths, the company’s employees sought to inspire students and present the various career opportunities available in the infrastructure sector.
Tecnovia invests in young talent
The enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the young participants reflect the success of the initiative and reinforce the importance of continuing to open doors to new generations.
For Tecnovia, these actions represent not only a way of publicising the reality of the sector, but also of identifying and attracting young talent, contributing to the company’s sustainable development.
