Partnership between Tecnovia and the University of Coimbra strenghtens commitment to Education

Tecnovia has taken another step towards promoting the training and integration of young talents in the engineering sector by signing a collaboration agreement with the University of Coimbra (UC).

The agreement, made official on 2 June, establishes curricular internships for students from the University of Coimbra and aims to bring academia closer to the real context of the construction and engineering sector.

The signing of the protocol was attended by Frederico Rodrigues, Tecnovia’s Human Resources Director, and Professor Paula Pires, representing the Rectorate of the University of Coimbra.

This strategic partnership aims to provide students with practical experience in a construction and project environment, fostering the development of essential skills for their future professional careers.

Attendance at the Conference on Sustainable Cities

The event coincided with the eve of the 1st National Conference on Sustainable and Intelligent Cities, organised by the UC Civil Engineering Department, which took place on 3 and 4 June.

Tecnovia not only supported the event, but actively participated, presenting its innovative work in the development of Warm Mix asphalt, a sustainable and environmentally responsible solution for road infrastructures.

These initiatives reflect Tecnovia’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and the valorisation of knowledge.
