The first half of 2025 was highlighted by a number of initiatives involving Tecnovia employees in various geographies, with a focus on unity, motivation and social responsibility. The Group shares some of these events.
Internal Contests
Tecnovia Sabichão Contest: To celebrate the company’s 62nd anniversary, Tecnovia launched this challenge for employees in Portugal, the Azores, Madeira, Angola, Cape Verde and Uganda to test their knowledge of the organisation’s history, values and global presence. The high level of participation and the success achieved reinforced pride in the organisation’s trajectory. The winners were recognised in all regions.
Children’s Day Contest: Employees’ younger family members were invited to create original projects using recycled materials in a special initiative dedicated to Children’s Day.
Celebrations and Recognition
Women’s Day: Tecnovia organised a special event for its female employees. A day dedicated to recognising and valuing all the women who are part of our history every day.
Volunteering and Social Responsibility
Volunteering in Funchal’s Ecological Park: The Tecnovia Madeira team took part in an action where they planted 100 heathers, demonstrating their active commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
Solidarity initiative on Children’s Day in Angola: Tecnovia once again supported the Angola Rescue MUSA Association by delivering food to the David Bernardino Paediatric Hospital. This initiative was thanks to the generosity of our employees, who bought several raffle tickets, the proceeds of which were donated to help the children admitted to the hospital.
Sports and social activities
Climbing at Guia: This activity promoted sports and socialising among employees through an outdoor challenge.
“Corrida de Santo António” and “Marginal à Noite”: Tecnovia took part in these two races in Lisbon and Oeiras respectively, promoting health, well-being and team spirit.
FutLiga in Angola: Tecnovia’s team took part in the 5th edition of this corporate championship, which favoured healthy competition and socialising between employees from different companies and different sectors.
Arraial Tecnovia: In various countries, the company organised moments of conviviality with music, sardines and karaoke, creating a relaxed atmosphere that reinforced friendship and the organisational culture.
These initiatives demonstrate Tecnovia’s commitment to creating a motivating, supportive and healthy working environment. The company remains committed to building a promising future alongside its team.
