Tecnovia Açores welcomes students from the Azores Qualification Centre

The Equipment Department – Workshops Division welcomed three classes from the Azores Qualification Centre to Tecnovia Açores, as part of the partnership it is developing with this leading training centre in the region.

The activity consisted of an institutional presentation on the company, its business, its people, values and culture, followed by a tour of the site, which included the Pellet Plant, the Primary Plant, the Crusher, the Concrete Plant and the Workshop.

Bringing young talent closer to the reality of the company

The main objective of this initiative was to introduce potential interns to the activities carried out by Tecnovia and to position the company as a potential employer. The activity was led by Eng. António Fernandes (Equipment Department), Eng. Paulo Soares (Head of Workshop Management and Maintenance) and the Human Resources team.

A total of 60 students took part in this initiative, divided into three groups:

• 2 groups of Automotive Mechatronics Technicians (1st year);
• 2 groups of Electrical Installations Technicians (1st and 2nd years);
• 1 group of Industrial Maintenance Technicians (1st year);

For Tecnovia Açores, this partnership with the Azores Qualification Centre reinforces its commitment to the training and integration of young professionals, contributing to the development of technical skills in the region and to attracting new talent to the construction and industrial maintenance sector.
