Finalists from EB1/PE dos Ilhéus experience immersive visit at Quake Museum

Tecnovia Madeira offered the 4th B grade finalists from EB1/PE dos Ilhéus School an exciting and emotional afternoon in Lisbon. The destination was the Quake Museum – Lisbon Earthquake Centre, an innovative space that immersively recreates the great 1755 earthquake.

An unforgettable experience for the students

Throughout the visit, the 21 students were transported into the heart of history through interactive experiences that combine science, technology, and culture. For many, it was the very first time visiting this kind of immersive museum, which made the discovery even more remarkable.

Teacher Helena, who accompanied the class, highlighted the importance of the activity:
“It was a very well-spent afternoon, with moments that will certainly remain in the memory of the graduating students.”

Tecnovia Madeira’s commitment to the school community

This visit was made possible thanks to Tecnovia Madeira’s sponsorship, which covered the museum entries and reinforced its active role within the educational community. The support ensured that all students could benefit from this experience, enriching their learning journey with an activity that combines culture and knowledge.

The company had previously promoted a similar visit with another group of Madeiran students. With this new initiative, Tecnovia Madeira continues its commitment to social responsibility, investing in experiences that contribute to the cultural and educational development of children in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

Through actions like this, the company once again demonstrates the importance it places on engaging with the community, building bridges between education and learning opportunities beyond the classroom that can leave a lasting impact on young lives.
