L4B has renewed its IPAC accreditation to carry out concrete compressive strength tests

L4B – the Materials and Construction Laboratory of Tecnovia, S.A. – now has two laboratories accredited by IPAC to carry out concrete compressive strength testing (NP EN 12390-3:2021).
The renewed accreditation of the Rio Maior laboratory is now complemented by the extension of accreditation to the Guifões laboratory in Matosinhos, strengthening L4B’s technical capacity and geographical presence.
Formal recognition of service to the market
The Technical Accreditation Annexes L0872-1 (Rio Maior) and L0872-2 (Guifões), both valid from 1 June 2026, certify L4B’s technical competence to carry out tests on hardened concrete, in accordance with the NP EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard — the leading international benchmark for testing laboratories.
More than just a mark of quality, this accreditation demonstrates that L4B has the technical resources, processes and equipment necessary to meet market requirements with rigour and reliability.
Greater confidence in concrete, greater safety in construction
As concrete is one of the most widely used materials in construction, testing its compressive strength plays a critical role in any construction project. Carrying out this test in accredited laboratories ensures reliable and recognised results, giving clients greater security and confidence in the execution of their projects.
