Tecnovia celebrates National Engineer’s Day with testimonials from professionals in different regions

The Tecnovia SA Laboratory in Rio Maior has achieved an important milestone by obtaining accreditation from the Portuguese Accreditation Institute (IPAC) for concrete compressive strength testing, in accordance with standard NP EN 12390-3.

The accreditation represents formal recognition of the laboratory’s technical competence to carry out this specific assessment, alongside the implementation of a testing laboratory management system in accordance with standard NP EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.

Strengthening technical capacity

This capability significantly strengthens Tecnovia Laboratory’s ability to respond to its internal needs, those of its partners and external customers. With this accreditation, the laboratory internally guarantees compliance with the requirement set out in Decree-Law No. 90/2021, contributing to increased confidence in the use of concrete, one of the most widely used construction materials in the sector, which translates into greater safety for all.
