Mayor of Loulé Visits Tecnovia’s Fórum Oeiras Construction Project

Fórum Oeiras, the future headquarters of Oeiras Municipal Council, currently under construction by Tecnovia in consortium with Acciona, welcomed a visit on 29 May from the Mayor of Loulé, Telmo Pinto.

The technical visit was hosted by the Mayor of Oeiras, Isaltino Morais, and highlighted the recognition of this infrastructure as a benchmark project for other local authorities, distinguished by its scale, innovation and strategic importance.

Knowledge Sharing and Best Practice Exchange

The programme included a working meeting and a tour of the building, bringing together members of the municipal executive, senior managers and technical specialists from the areas of construction, infrastructure, project management and urban regeneration.

The initiative promoted the exchange of knowledge and best practices, further strengthening inter-municipal cooperation. The Loulé delegation had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the technical and construction solutions being implemented in this development, which will centralise Oeiras’ municipal services.

A Landmark Infrastructure Project

Fórum Oeiras is establishing itself as a landmark project within the Portuguese municipal landscape. During the visit, Councillor Nuno Neto accompanied the delegation and also presented Oeiras’ new housing programme, which has already delivered 92 housing units, with a further 451 currently nearing completion.

This initiative reinforces the importance of institutional partnerships in promoting knowledge sharing and demonstrates how investments of this nature extend beyond the local sphere, serving as replicable examples at a national level.

For Tecnovia, participating in the construction of this emblematic infrastructure represents another contribution to sustainable urban development through the implementation of innovative technical solutions and the highest standards of quality.
