Mayor of Oeiras visits Oeiras Forum construction site

Isaltino Morais, Mayor of Oeiras, and municipal councillors visited the construction site of the future Oeiras Municipal Forum, accompanied by teams from Tecnovia and Acciona. The visit provided an opportunity to see first-hand the progress of construction on this space, which will be central to the democratic life of the municipality.

A landmark project for Oeiras

The Oeiras Forum is being built on a 16,000 m² site next to Parque dos Poetas, in a contract awarded to the Acciona – Tecnovia SA Consortium.

The infrastructure will consist of a 16-storey tower and three underground floors for parking, with a total of 741 spaces. This new building will centralise municipal services in a single modern and functional space, promoting debate and civic participation and improving the efficiency of services provided to the citizens of Oeiras.

Urban integration and technological innovation

The Oeiras Municipal Forum will be integrated with the surrounding area, in particular with the Parque dos Poetas, an important leisure area in the municipality. The work is being carried out using BIM (Building Information Modelling) methodology, which allows the creation of a 4D visual model integrating all aspects of the building, promoting the optimisation of the construction, management, development and subsequent maintenance of the building.

For Tecnovia, participating in the construction of this emblematic building in the municipality where it is headquartered is a source of pride and reinforces its commitment to local development.
