With a unique location, under the runway of Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, in the municipality of Machico, the Água de Pena Naval Shipyard is a 14,500m2 naval infrastructure intended for the parking and wintering, repair and maintenance of vessels.
The shipyard has the capacity to receive ships of 35 tons and accommodate more than 100 ships at the same time, as well as buildings to support nautical activities, namely the concierge area, administrative area, workshop pavilion and commercial area.
It also has the only service station for servicing rafts and life jackets in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, certified by DGRM.
Repairs to vessels may be carried out by qualified personnel from Tecnovia Madeira, companies authorized by the Naval Shipyard to carry out activities on site or by third parties hired by the owners of the vessels.
