Tecnovia featured in +Magazine with the launch of the L4B brand

Tecnovia was featured in the 13 February edition of +Magazine, a supplement to Expresso, in a report on the launch of L4B, the new brand that consolidates more than 50 years of experience of the company’s Materials and Construction Laboratory.

The article ‘More than 50 years of Tecnovia laboratory gains new identity’ highlights the company’s strategic commitment to responding to the growing needs of customers and the challenges of more resilient construction, focused on quality control of construction materials and works.

In the article, Catarina Gata, Director of Sustainability and Communication, highlights the company’s accumulated experience: ‘This is an area where we have a great deal of experience, know-how, skills, and technical and human resources.’ She also reveals the strategy behind the launch: ‘We are going to launch a brand associated with our laboratory in mainland Portugal – L4B – materials and construction laboratory, and our focus is on strengthening our external customers, who already account for around 10% of our turnover.’

Nuno Fernandes, Laboratory Manager, highlights another distinguishing feature of L4B: ‘We have a very strong focus on technical support, the preparation of reports and support in enabling alternative solutions.’

The article also highlights the laboratory’s competitive advantages, based on solid human and technical resources, state-of-the-art equipment, accumulated know-how and recognised certifications. The accreditation for concrete compressive strength testing, obtained at the Rio Maior laboratory and soon to be extended to other laboratories in mainland Portugal, reinforces L4B’s credibility in the market.
