Description

Since 2010, we have carried out adaptation, remodelling and expansion work at Funchal Central Hospital – the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital (formerly known as the Cruz de Carvalho Hospital) including the construction of new buildings for various services and departments:

• A new Nuclear Medicine and Magnetic Resonance building

• Remodelling and Extension of the Pharmacy

• Remodelling of the Haemodynamics Unit

• Extension and remodelling of the emergency paediatric, sterilisation and dialysis unit

• Installation of HVAC chillers in the Zone 3 Building

• Construction of a building for the installation of a micro-wave waste treatment system

• Renovation of the Obstetrics and Medical Gases block

• Centre for assisted reproduction, Psychiatric internment (acute) and Outpatients
