Description

This modern health infrastructure built by Tecnovia Madeira for the HPA Saúde Group, has a construction area of ​​20,000 m2 and 3500 m2 of implantation area.

Consisting of 7 floors, 3 of which are buried, the Hospital Particular involved the application of about 14,000 m3 of concrete and 2,700 tons of steel.

The Hospital was built in two phases, for a total duration of 26 months. The first construction phase, started in December 2016, lasting 12 months, involved excavation, terrain reinforcement and structure. The second phase was related to architecture, finishes and specialties, with a duration of 14 months, with the work inaugurated in May 2019.

With the completion of this Hospital unit, the Autonomous Region of Madeira now has more:

• 100 Hospital beds
• 4 operating theater rooms, one of which is a Hybrid Operating Room
• Adult and Pediatric Permanent Care Service

• Women’s Unit
• Child and Adolescent Unit
