Consortium Acciona – Tecnovia wins the construction of the new building of the Municipality of Oeiras – Oeiras Forum

The Consortium Acciona – Tecnovia SA. Was winned the construction contract for the new headquarters building of the Municipality of Oeiras – Oeiras Forum.

Located in Oeiras, at Av. Engenheiro Álvaro Roquete / Rua Isabel Queiroz / Rua Dr. José da Cunha, the project, designed by Mário Sua Kay architectural firm, contemplates the construction of the office building and outdoor spaces.

With a gross construction area of ​​45,065 m2, on a plot of about 16,000 m2, the Municipal Oeiras Forum will consist of a tower with 16 floors above ground and 3 floors in the basement, intended for parking, with a total of 741 places.

The Oeiras Forum will be integrated with the surrounding area, in particular with the Parque dos Poetas, an important recreational space in the municipality.

The construction of the Oeiras Forum, awarded to the Consortium Acciona – Tecnovia SA for approximately 45 M €, for a term of 720 days, has the consignment scheduled for January 2021.

 

The main works involved in the construction of this project are:

– Peripheral containment: Construction of Berlin retaining walls and with provisional anchorages

– Construction of foundations and bottom slab with final vertical nailing

– Tower structure of the building and two secondary bodies (up to the 3rd floor level) one north and one south of the main building

– Special installations

– Architecture

– External Infrastructures

– Access roads to the building

– Exterior arrangements and landscaping

 

The work will be developed using the BIM methodology – Building Information Modeling. With the creation of a 4D visual model that will integrate all aspects of the project, BIM will optimize the construction, management, development and, subsequently, building maintenance.

 

With a growing portfolio in the building sector, Tecnovia is proud to participate, in the municipality where it has its headquarters, in this project that will be a landmark for Oeiras.
