Construction of the Quibaxe Rural Industrial Park consigned to Tecnovia Angola
On February 8th, took place the consignment agreement and first stone launching for the infrastructures construction of the Rural Industrial Park (PIR) of Quibaxe.
Located in the municipality of Dembos, in the Bengo province, in an area of high agricultural potential, the Quibaxe Rural Industrial Park aims at the processing of cassava, maize, animal feed and citrus processing, boosting agricultural production and improving product distribution.
The project involves the construction of seven platforms with four industrial units, an administrative building, streets, as well as power generation and water supply centers, occupying an area of 3.5 hectares, having been considered for future development and expansion.
Consigned to Tecnovia Angola by the Ministry of Industry of Angola, budgeted at 697.3 million kwanzas (about two million euros), the project has a contractual duration of 13 months.
The consignment note was formally signed by Eng. Luís Ribeiro, General Director of IDIA – Industrial Development Institute of Angola and Eng. Ricardo Marfim Santos, Member of the Management Board of Tecnovia Angola.
The ceremony was attended by several institutional individuals, especially the launch of the first stone, carried out by Exma. Minister of Industry, Bernarda Martins da Silva.
Present for 27 years in Angola, Tecnovia Angola is pleased to be able to contribute with the construction of another infrastructure that promotes the development of the country.
