First project for BRISA – A1

Expansion to the Autonomous Region of Madeira, with the construction of the Porto Moniz – Calheta road, now the ER 101. A project set among the rough cliffs on the north coast of the island, a constant challenge, the first of many in the region where we would eventually acquire extensive skills in tunnel construction.

Earthmoving along the Carregado / Aveiras de Cima section of the A1 – Autoestrada do Norte motorway, the first project carried out directly for BRISA – Autoestradas de Portugal.
