We began operating in the Autonomous Region of Madeira in 1978, with the construction of the Porto Moniz – Calheta – Ponta do Sol road on the island of Madeira.
Since then, our presence in the archipelago has always been accompanied by investment in our human capital, in equipment and supporting structures for our contracts.
Our contribution to the construction of various infrastructure projects such as tunnels, bridges, roads, marinas and ports, buildings (schools, hotels, hospitals) and sports facilities, among others, has transformed us into an indispensable leading company in the region, and a key actor in its development.
At the end of 1997, TECNOVIA MADEIRA – Sociedade de Empreitadas S.A. was established through a de-merger from Tecnovia, inheriting its human capital, technical experience and equipment.
We always rely on quality to guarantee the satisfaction of our clients, and our quality management systems have been ISO 9001 certified since 2002.
The company continued to improve its performance and activities, and in 2015 its environmental management systems became ISO 14001 certified, and its occupational health and safety procedures became ISO 45001 certified.
